Into the woods
This level demo was created to explore the artistic appeal of blending cartoon characters with a more realistically rendered world. The gameplay was modeled to support a more puzzle-centric experience realized through several playable third person characters.
Designed large-scale cinematic environment for real-time sequenced cinematics throughout the demo. Animated and integrated character meshes with specific gameplay for each character.
Fully procedural foliage and dynamic real-time lighting rendered and optimized at a playable 55 frames per second.
Terrain and foliage fully optimized with LOD meshes and materials developed to highest quality while maintaining low instruction count.
