Inspired by the game, Katamari Damacy this game was a project developed by myself and 3 other developers for a University project. The game consisted of one giant level, that allows for players to roll around the game and suck up objects, steadily increasing their size. The level layout required careful design to allow players to strategically collect objects while strategically maneuvering through the thematically colorful and cell-shaded environment.
Designed a large-scale world built with a wide variety or artistic models.
Utilized a variety of tools, including applications such as Word Machine and programmer-created procedural toolsets.
Thoroughly playtested for bugs and analyzed player development and progression throughout the environment
Worked closely with programmer to streamline integration of artistic assets
